Bavarian Armoire #3

So I just sold Bavarian Armoire no. 3, for $250, to a short marine guy in a truck. My truck's in the shop, so I haven't been able to do as much business lately, but he wanted to stop by and pick it up so i said what the hell, I'll take the money if he picks it up. He knows from all the ads on craigslist that i have more than a few for sale, and he specifically asks for the one that was 68" tall, which I know is the one from clairemont that is rustic pine, black iron hinges, a really nice sized armoire, great for any room. I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet, and pull it out of the garage- oh no! the top slat is broken, but I am able to jerry rig it last minute before he shows up.

So he pulls up, nice big truck, and backs into the driveway, which tells me he's pretty much gonna buy it sight unseen. He hops out, checks it out, and something about his body language tells me that the armoire is not as big as he expected it to be. He likes it, but asks if he can see the other ones I have for sale.

As I pull out the other one, the Bavarian armorie #3 he eventually buys, he hops on the phone with his girlfriend describing the first one to her, and he's like "Yah, it's smaller than I thought, it's about my height.", and i'm like, dude 68" is 5'8", the same height you are...are you surprisingly short to yourself every day when you wake up too?

Anyways, he loves the Bavarian Armoire (above large solid aged pine armoire I bought in La Costa), and tells me he's driving it down to Mexico that night. The back already says, "hecho en Mexico", and it warms me to think he's taking it home. I wonder if he's going to resell it....
